Together with my team, I conceptualized and organized The Love Boat, a unique speed dating and networking event for Boat Tours Spaarnwoude. The aim was to create a memorable experience for young people seeking connection and social interaction in a fresh, engaging setting – aboard a scenic boat tour.
This event taught me how to turn a simple idea into an experiential marketing concept, and gave me valuable experience in event coordination, target audience engagement, and creative brand positioning.
I worked as a hostess at the IGB (iGaming Business) Exhibition and the Al Exhibition, representing Boomerang and Magnifi, two leading tech and marketing companies. My role involved welcoming guests, facilitating networking, and ensuring a smooth, engaging brand experience at the booths.
This experience sharpened my communication and interpersonal skills, taught me how to represent a brand professionally in a fast-paced B2B environment, and deepened my understanding of event marketing and tech-driven industries.
In collaboration with Share of Voice, I worked on a B2B video campaign for Escape Amsterdam, highlighting a vibrant girls trip to the city. The goal was to showcase Escape as more than just a club – a full experience for event partners and business clients.
I contributed both on-camera and behind the scenes, helping shape the creative concept and messaging.
I learned how effective storytelling and emotion can be in B2B marketing, and gained hands-on experience with video production and strategic content creation.
I created and managed TikTok campaigns for both Shiso Amsterdam (a trendy sushi spot) and Escape Amsterdam (a leading nightlife venue). My role included content creation, trend adaptation, and strategic posting to boost visibility and engagement among Gen Z and millennial audiences.
Each campaign focused on authentic, high-energy short-form videos that showcased the vibe and unique offerings of the brands.
I gained hands-on experience in social media strategy, audience targeting, and how to translate brand identity into performative, viral content on TikTok.
